March: LIBERATE!

Verse:  

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:34–36

Prayer:

Lord, thank you that You have set me free!  When you set someone free, they are really free.  I am really free!  Thank you, that I am no longer a slave to sin, but that I am a son of my Heavenly Father. ““For [I] did not receive a spirit that makes [me} a slave again to fear, but [I] received the Spirit of sonship. And by Him [I] cry, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15  Empower me by your grace to LIVE in this freedom. “Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.” Psalm 25:20 Guard my life!

In YOU I am FREE!  ““Because [I] love [You, Lord], [You] will  “ rescue me; You will protect me, for I acknowledge Your Name.. [I] will call upon [You], and [You} will answer [me]; [You] will be with [me] in trouble, [You] will deliver [me] and honor [me].” Psalm 91:14-15

Thank You, Lord, that I WAS BORN TO BE FREE!

February: LOVE!

Verse:

1 John 4:7 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.”

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for loving me. Thank you that “while I was still a sinner, You died for me” (Rom. 5:8). Thank you that I am “more than a conqueror through You who loved me. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor ruler, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate me from Your love” (Rom. 8:37-39). Help me to obey Your word when You said, “The most important is…You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength… And ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’” (Mark 12:28-31). Help me to love others as You love me, especially those who do not know You. Give me a heart of compassion for the lost. By the power of the Holy Spirit, help me so that my life is marked by “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:13), in Jesus’ name, Amen.

January: I WAS BORN FOR THIS!

Verse:

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Prayer: 

Lord, I know that You knew me before You formed me in my mother’s womb.  Before I was born You set me apart and You ordained me for a purpose!  I know that I am “Your masterpiece.  You created me anew so that I can do the good things that You planned for me long ago (Eph. 2:10).” Help me to realize that I am special to You, that You chose me, that You have a plan for me, and that I am created perfectly to fulfill Your plan for my life.  Thank you for your love and grace.  Thank you that I was born for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
